Blossoms by Design designed my wedding announcements last July. We collaborated and tossed around different ideas, and the end product was even better than I had hoped for! We could not have been happier with the flowers for our wedding! They turned out even better than we imagined, and truly were the element that made it elegant and lovely. Working with Wanda was a dream. She was professional, creative, and really put me at ease regarding all of the details. Wanda did the flowers and decorations for a large family party celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The flowers were beautiful and lasted a long time. The decorations were creative and everyone enjoyed them. Both uniquely showcased my father's personality and interests. I would definitely ask her to help with any event.
Wanda has also volunteered her talents in arranging flowers and decorating for other events when needed that I have attended such as weddings, funerals, parties and dances. She always comes up with interesting ways of making an event beautiful and her ideas are unique. She is a pleasure to work with as well.

Wanda did a fabulous job on the flowers for my daughter's wedding reception. She personalized the flowers for the wedding party with each individual's name, created a lovely bouquet for the bride and went above and beyond with the exquisite flower arrangements for the reception. She took great care with all the details of the job and it turned out beautifully! Wanda does amazing work and I highly recommend her.

Wanda Prunty was the lead for decorating the dining portion of a church youth function that hosted over 400 teenagers. Mormon Prom, which is the name of the activity,has two different phases, the first being the dinner and the second the dance. Wanda took a church gym and had the difficult task of turning it into a beautiful atmospheric fine dining experience with only $800. With great imagination and superb ingenuity she achieved that goal. Doing most of the work herself she created center pieces for over a dozen large round tables. She created a rope system to hold yards of tulle over the gym to create a whole different room. Twinkle lights were hung as well with elegantly lit balloon statues throughout. She set electric candle lights and balloons in the large hallways transforming them into a beautiful path to the dining experience. Wanda goes above and beyond what is expected and always manages to create the most breath taking settings for all different occasions. This was one of three events I've been to where she has been in charge. I've loved everyone of them and hope to work with her again in the future

Wedding at the Edgewater Hotel
Wanda did an absolutely amazing job! I started planning my wedding 6 weeks before the date and Wanda was able to exceed my expectations on everything! The flowers were breathtaking, the bouquets were perfect and beautiful and she also let me rent gold vases that match my wedding colors so I didn't have to go out and buy them!!
My photographer broke her flash while we were doing pictures, and Wanda's daughter let her use hers for the rest of the evening so we could still get our wedding pictures done!! She really saved the day! All of my friends and family were so impressed with her that they want to use her for all of their events!! Thank you Wanda!

Wanda is the best!
We had a phone consultation about what I wanted my flowers to look like. She kept me in the loop the whole time: sending me pictures of what flowers she was planning on using, letting me know when she received the flowers, and sending me a picture of my bouquet a few days before to make sure I was happy with it. Wanda also made some boutaneers and corsages for our parents with the leftover flowers.
And it was all beautiful! Exactly what I was picturing.
She went above and beyond just flowers. My now husband and I decided to move our date up with three weeks to plan it. Wanda sent me a few encouraging texts, which was so unexpected and appreciated. She was just a fun, joyful person to work with.

Wanda is an amazing floral designer. She has a background in art and design, that she uses to bring a fresh perspective to her work. She is full of innovative ideas, loves trying new things and ultimately gives her clients exactly what they want (even if they weren't sure what that was in the beginning). She does her research and prides herself on collaborating so her client's personality always shines through her work. She always puts her clients first and makes sure everything goes smoothly on the big day.

But Wanda took the time to find out what style of bouquets appealed to me, went over flowers with me until I found some I liked and helped me decide my color palette. As a stressed out bride, I was so grateful to have some guidance from a seasoned professional. After our meeting I didn't have to worry about a thing, which is a god send for a bride.

Wanda did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding! In an unfortunate turn of events, my original florist was no longer able to do my wedding two months before, so she recommended me to Wanda. This was the best thing that ever happened to me! From our first meeting I knew she was going to be amazing. Not only did she do the flowers for my wedding and reception, but she also decorated the ENTIRE venue including beautiful lighting, candles, flowers, vases, uplights, floor emblem lights, window decor, you name it! She asked me my budget on our first meeting and took it from there (she has very reasonable prices so she made a little go a long way!). Wanda is truely talented and loves what she does and it shows in her work. I even had a friend who attended the wedding ask for her contact information to help with a babyshower she was hosting the next month. I can't wait to use Wanda's services again. Wanda of Blossoms by Design created the wedding centerpieces for our daughter's wedding on March 4, 2017. During the week of the wedding, unknown to us, Wanda suffered a personal tragedy in her family. I am not sure how she did it, but she created for us the most beautiful centerpieces, and went above and beyond to meet our needs. All of our guests commented on the beauty of the flowers. Wanda did a fantastic job with our wedding flowers!! I can't say enough great things about Wanda and her talent. Finding a florist for our wedding was sort of last minute and Wanda was able to get us in for a consult right away and was able to envision what we had in mind with some color descriptions and pictures. The bouquets were gorgeous and lasted so long after the wedding day! She also included a toss bouquet and small rose centerpiece free of charge - it was so thoughtful and just as beautiful as the rest! I only gave Wanda 1 week before the wedding to take care of the flowers. I just gave her list of colors, my favorite flowers, and a picture of the venue. Not only did she come through with everything I needed on time, her floral arrangements were beautiful. I was completely amazed with her work when I saw her walk in with the flowers.

I didn't realize that Wanda is primarily a wedding florist but she was very willing to help me with a Mother's Day arrangement. Her warmth and willingness to discuss what we wanted for mom was very welcome and very refreshing. The suggestions she made were spot on and mom loved the arrangement. I feel she really has a gift for teasing out what is appropriate when you may not be fully aware yourself.
I will definitely be using Blossoms By Design for all my floral needs in the Puyallup area from now on. Outstanding!

Wanda (Blossoms By Design) did an amazing job on the flowers for my wedding! My guests made so many comments about how beautiful they were. I was so grateful that she drove over 50 miles to the venue to deliver them (for a reasonable fee). The flowers were fresh, full, vibrant, and arranged together perfectly! Wanda is so easy and quick to respond! The original plan for my fiancé and I was to get married in Puerto Rico in nov17. Unfortunately because of hurricane Maria, there was lots of back and forth of the wedding in general, but we decided to move it to my hometown in Tacoma, leaving us a month to plan a whole new wedding! I used thumbtacks to get a kickstart on vendors to help my wedding planner and Wanda was one of the vendors who helped make my wedding the visión I wanted! I actually was working with a florist before Wanda, but she had to cancel on me because it was too short of a notice, and that’s when Wanda messaged me and helped me with ideas for what I was envisioning! She gave me the idea to have flower Wands for my flower girls which turned out so cute and adorable! Her flowers for the church, pews, reception, my waterfall bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, bouitineers and table flowers were exactly how I pictured them! She’s very easy to work with, offers wonderful ideas and gives good advice! Highly recommend her and her flowers!!! Even after the wedding, my family was able to enjoy them for weeks after! :)

Wanda is amazing! Our wedding venue was a couple hours away, and we were heading out the day before. She had all the flowers ready the day before and she made sure that they would last well through the wedding. They were pristine and they lasted for almost a whole week before I had to do much to maintain them. My house was full of beautiful flowers for a couple weeks. It was a fun little reminder of the events that took place recently :)
She met with me to go over what we wanted for our wedding flowers. I think we had less flowers than most weddings, simply because we already had a lot of natural outdoor decor (a forest) around us. But, I know she generally does much more than we asked. Anyway, we went over the flowers I liked, bouquets that I found on sites like Pinterest and my overall vibe of the wedding. Then about a week or two before she called to confirm details and I had an opportunity to make a last minute change. She also happened to find some lavender, which I really love, but we weren't sure if there would be any because the season was supposed to be over. It all turned out far better than I even imagined.
Also, my favorite part! On my wedding day, I received a phone call while getting ready. It was Wanda! She meant to call my mom, but I am sure I simply gave her my number, so that was all on me. But, it was so refreshing to have her call, see how the flowers went and how I was doing. It made for such a pleasant moment, to know that Wanda really just wanted us to have a perfect day.
*For brides that don't want any phone calls from anyone day of, just remember to designate people to take care of stuff ahead of time... and give out the proper numbers! ;)*
All in all, I am so happy we found Wanda! She is so professional, caring and talented. It wouldn't have been such a beautiful day without Blossoms by Design.
